It's been a while since I created a new piece for the Solace of Space collection. Between Covid-19, putting the finishing touches on the book, exhibit and web site for Manzanar: Their Footsteps Remain, creating the Solace of Space website (which you are currently viewing), a road trip to Los Angeles, the west coast in flames, and a non-stop insane news cycle, life has been pretty crazy, to say the least. But it's time to get back to it, and I must say, I'm looking forward to getting my creative juices flowing again. And right out of the gate, here is my first piece for 2020, entitled Reflected. Its ethereal, dreamy feeling in soft pastel tones is the perfect antidote for 2020.
